Hello SSV Family,

Writing this is incredibly difficult, but I need to share that my health has taken a serious turn for the worse. Business first and foremost, most of the refunds have been processed. I will finish the rest over the weekend. Appreciate your patience.

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been in the ICU and the surgical unit. I had been dealing with a mild cough that came and went for several months, but things escalated quickly. When my wife returned home from a trip, she found me severely ill and disoriented, and rushed me to the ER. There, doctors discovered a black mass covering 70% of my right lung. I have since been transferred out of state to be under the care of some of the top pulmonologists in the country. My family and I feel profoundly blessed to have such an extraordinary medical team fighting on our side.

Because my sole focus must now be on shrinking this mass and healing, I have made the difficult decision to close SSV for the time being. I am uncertain what the future holds or if I will be back for good. However, once I am back on my feet, I plan to hold a fire sale for most of our 13-year vault. I have too much inventory, and I want these genetics to go to you all, where they can be put to good use. Preservation has been the driving force of SSV since day 1. 

Looking back, I feel beyond blessed to have been on this journey for so long. I am incredibly proud of what we built together. Behind the scenes, SSV has been able to donate over six figures in inventory to veterans in need. Spending countless hours teaching these amazing warriors how to grow. I made so many dope friends. It was so much fun to see them excited and then hooked after the first seed popped. Forever changing their path. Sending different strains over several grows was crucial to both of us. Figuring out what strain worked better for their conditions was our focus. Helping Vets and their families was my greatest accomplishment in 13 years here at SSV. Going to miss you guys something fierce . 

We also created a free platform for the absolute best craft breeders in the business, helping generate six figures in income to ensure rare genetics keep flowing into your gardens and keeping their passion alive. Never charging a dime while leveraging the SSV’s name to bring them business makes me so proud.  It brings me a lot of peace knowing that those breeders are all still thriving today. I love and appreciate everyone who supported my dream. This  dream of being apart of the cannabis community, came true. Everyday I would picture myself as a respected breeder. Always telling my wife, “imagine if I could do that”. You all made it happen for me and I am forever grateful. I will always hold it dear to my heart. 

I did my best over the years, filling orders fast and giving BOGO for every order. Costs stayed the same for a decade on Alter Ego Gear. I never did it for the money, not 1 damn day.

Thank you for all the support over the years. We are so blessed to have you. I mean that.
